The high school student body is composed of over 700 students from primarily four counties: Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Benito, and Monterey, as well as international students from all over the world.  Students receive an excellent education plus opportunities to pursue their interests in athletics, art, music, drama, mock trial, student government, and academic competitions, just to name a few.  Monte Vista offers a wide variety of classes.

Monte Vista Christian School admits students of any race, color, and national origin.  Students professing faiths other than Christianity are not discriminated against in the admissions decision.  However, parents and students must realize we are a Christian school and all students are required to take a  Bible class every year and attend student chapel on Tuesdays.
