Students who wish to get ahead in their studies by taking the next course in a subject area (i.e. Chemistry or Geometry, etc.) before the next school year are encouraged to take the course through MVCS summer school. Please keep in mind that MVCS policy has changed, starting with school year 2007-2008, in regards to courses that students must take at MVCS.  (Please see 2007/08 Student / Parent Handbook Policy, page 16):

"Academic courses offered at MVCS must be taken at MVCS. Only enrichment courses or courses that augment the student’s academic program which are not offered at MVCS will be accepted to satisfy graduation requirements."
