Prepare for study in the United States through our integrated curriculum which focuses on pronunciation, listening comprehension, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary expansion, and mathematics terms in English. TOEFL or iTEP is given at the end of the program.
Build lasting friendships with students around the world. Our program is now in our 19th year, and we have welcomed students from over 20 countries.
Explore American culture with our high school aged student counselors. Afternoon activities include: arts and crafts, sports, swimming, horseback riding, cooking, and team-building activities.

Discover the Silicon Valley, Monterey Bay, and San Francisco through our educational field trips, such as: Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Gizdich Ranch, San Jose Tech Museum, the Mystery Spot, Stanford University and Stanford Mall, San Jose Earthquakes soccer, overnight in San Francisco.

Enjoy our beautiful, 100 acre (40.5 hec) campus with sports fields, equestrian center, ponds, coastal redwoods, swimming pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, with medical center/hospital within 5 miles (8 km) of our campus.

Learn from our highly qualified, dedicated Christian faculty and staff who act as mentors and role models. Our faculty and staff are first aid and CPR certified. Our class size is approximately 5 to 8 students per teacher.

Utilize cutting edge technology. iPads are used in our morning classes for English language skill development.
Relax after eating in our cafeteria with food provided by The Epicurean Group in Stott/Hellman Hall, which has a large lounge with fireplace, satellite TV, piano, wireless internet, karaoke machine, Wii, and dorm rooms.

Student Standards
As a Christian educational institution, Monte Vista has a concern for all aspects of a student's life and character, as well as the intellect.
