Additional Fees and Expenses
Textbooks: Monte Vista supplies textbooks for classroom use, which are included in tuition. Each student is responsible to purchase a set of textbooks to use at home. Families may purchase their books from any source they prefer. For more information on the textbook policy at MVCS, please click on “Textbook Information” here.
Bus Transportation: Bus transportation fees are charged monthly through FACTS Tuition Management, September through May. Those not wishing to enroll in FACTS must pay their bus fees in full at the beginning of the year. Physical Education Clothing: P.E. clothing is required for all Physical Education classes at Monte Vista. These can be purchased at our Business Office and will be distributed in each student's P.E. class (with receipt). Shorts and shirts are $15 each. MVCS sweatpants ($25) and/or sweatshirts ($30) are optional for cooler days.

Athletic Team Fees: Students who participate in athletics at MVCS may need to purchase items such as team attire, and in some cases, pay for transportation and/or lodging on overnight team trips. For team participation fees, please click on “Participation Fees and Requirements” here.

Elective Class Fees: Tuition at Monte Vista Christian School includes most class fees. For specific fees relating to the exceptions to this rule, please click on "Equestrian," “Middle School Electives,” or “MarchTerm.” In some cases, students may need to pay for incidental fees related to specific classes, such as field trips, class activities, and/or transportation and lodging on overnight trips.
