We have a full offering of honors and AP courses as well as "concurrent enrollment" courses that allow students to earn college credit. Our students consistently achieve SAT and ACT scores above the national average. 96% of Monte Vista students go on to a 4 year university because of their hard work and the top notch resources available to them.ArtsThe Visual and Performing Arts division has over 20 options for students to choose from. Studio arts and ceramics taught by experienced artists give students an opportunity to explore their creative side. AP studio art and music theory are available for more proficient students. In the performing arts students can choose to take drama, drama ministry, choir, band, orchestra, middle school band and choir and more.AthleticsWith 32 High School Sports and 14 Middle School Teams, we have something for everyone. 2012 was a great year to be a Mustang with many league championships. MVC football players earned Offensive MVP and Utility Player of the Year awards from the Monterey Bay League. The Mustang cheer team won the national championship.
