Summer School at Monte Vista
Summer School 2017 kicks off the 2017-18 school year. Monte Vista offers traditional on-campus courses taught by our faculty. Students have the opportunity to complete one full-year course over the summer. Since students are doing eight months of course work over six weeks, they need to understand the intensity and expectations of our summer school programs.
Summer School Applications
If you are a current Monte Vista Christian Student you may download this Summer Registration form and submit it to the Business Office with your payment.

We welcome non-Monte Vista students (you will be notified after April 21about acceptance–MVCS students will have first preference). There is a simplified admission process for Summer School Registration. The application fee is included in the registration fee for the MVCS Summer School Program.
Summer School Application (for non-Monte Vista Students)
Please click on the link above to access the application for admission to MVCS for Summer School. Then, save it to your computer, complete the form, and submit your completed form to email@example.com. We will be in touch with the next step to the admission process for non-MVCS students.
On Campus Summer School Expectations
The condensed time frame leads to a rigorous schedule where a week of material is covered in a day of summer school instruction. It is important that students commit not only to attending every class but also several hours of homework each evening.
TWO SEMESTER (FULL YEAR) COURSES:
June 5 to June 30: 8:00 AM- 2:30 PM
American Government/ Economics (grades11-12)
Health and Wellness (grades 9-12)
US History (grades 11-12)
World History (grades 10-12)
Algebra I (grades 9-12)
Geometry (grades 10-12)
Algebra II (grades 10-12)
*Spanish I (grades 9-12)
*For incoming Freshmen who took Spanish in MS or students retaking the course
June 5- July 14*: 8:00 AM- 12:30 PM
Biology (grades 9-12)
*No school on July 3-4
ONE SEMESTER (HALF YEAR) COURSES:
June 5 to June 16: 8:00 AM- 2:30 PM
American Government (grades11-12)
June 19 to June 30: 8:00 AM- 2:30 PM
• Deadline for registration and payments: April 21, 2017; all unpaid registrations on April 24th will be cancelled
• Submit form and payment to the Business Office
• Students will be enrolled when fees are paid in full
• Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the course is cancelled
• Students who miss more than two days of class will not receive academic credit
