What is March Term?
March Term is an innovative curriculum feature that was started in 2004. Modeled after the college Winter Term concept. March Term is designed to increase learning opportunities for students in and out of their passions. This year students have 1 full-day, 7 morning and 6 afternoon classes to choose from, above and beyond the normal school curriculum. This will give students the unique opportunity to explore new passions, reconnect with current ones or attend a unique trip among peers & teachers to Mt Hermon (6th Grade), Catalina Island (7th Grade) or Washington D.C. (8th Grade).
March Term is part of the second semester and will count towards daily attendance –any absents will require a parents excuse.
Each student that is not attending a camp will choose from one of the following:
Registration for classes
We recommend that students make a list of their first 3 preferences in the event particular classes are full. Students are reminded to seriously consider each of their choices because classes do fill up and many students enroll in 2nd or 3rd choices. You may register any time after 7:01am on your scheduled day from the following link.
Fees for classes
While most courses offered are free of charge, some do have associated fees and they are listed at the end of the course descriptions. These fees are non-refundable as teachers order specific supplies based on the student enrollment.
