Since 1926, Monte Vista Christian School has provided faith-centered education rooted in Christian values for families of diverse faith backgrounds.

MVC was started by missionaries, Nell and R.O. Price, with a desire to provide children with an affordable education focused on Christian character and values, as well as academics and life skills.

We continue to stay true to our history and tradition — making an exceptional Christian education accessible.

We are committed to making an excellent Christian education accessible to families in the Monterey Bay area as well as around the world. We recognize affordability is an important consideration for parents, which is why we offer financial aid for those families who need it.

At Monte Vista Christian School (MVC), we believe that access to quality Christian education should be available to a diverse range of students and families who share our mission and values. Fostering an inclusive environment where students from different backgrounds can thrive not only strengthens our collective community, but also enhances learning for all who attend our school. 

While we hold that the primary responsibility for a child's education lies with the family, we offer need-based financial aid to support those for whom this cost may be a barrier. We recognize that tuition can be a significant financial challenge for many families, but we are dedicated to making our education as accessible as possible.
