Books - Please refer to detailed instructions regarding purchasing and activating your student’s textbook bundle, as the EdTech online bookstore is now open! This streamlined system will provide a user friendly digital reader and 24-hour customer support all included in one convenient package.
New Drop-Off/Pick-Up - MVC will have security at the main entrance for parents and visitors who need to access campus during school hours. Before-and after-school student drop-off and pick-up will only take place in the main parking lot area (Senior Lot). These drop-off and pick-up maps will help you navigate the new process. Thank you for working with us to make student safety a top priority.
Emergency/Medical Information - Day Student Families: Your School Outings and Student Information form must be completed by logging into your Admissions Portal to provide up-to-date emergency and medical information.
iPads - All students attending MVC for the 2018-2019 school year will be required to bring their own iPads. Please refer to the information on our Technology page for specifications.

School Lunch Accounts - Students may purchase food in the cafe using their mySchoolBucks student lunch account. Please click the link to log in, create an account, or to add money to your student’s account. PLEASE NOTE: New student accounts in mySchoolBucks cannot be established until after August 1.
Transportation - Parents are invited to read this message from MVC's new Transportation Coordinator Ken Rothhammer, and sign up for preferred bus routes/stops for the 2018-2019 school year. Please register by August 1. Route and stop assignments will be issued the week of August 6 to allow families time to plan and prepare for the start of school on Wednesday, August 15.
Carpooling - Families interested in connecting with potential carpool partners for the 2018-2019 school year can fill out this form anytime before Wednesday, August 1. Lists of names/email addresses will be shared with families by region the week of August 6 to allow time to connect prior to the first day of school on Wednesday, August 15.
Course Schedule - You may access our Student Information System, Focus, to view your course schedule in July. New families will receive an email with their access codes and instructions. Please contact Students Services for any questions regarding your specific schedule or 4 year plan.
Parking Permits - The form to apply for Student Parking will be available soon.
Summer Assignments - Summer (outside of summer school) is a sabbath from school. Therefore summer assignments should be an exception rather that the rule. Three exceptions are AP courses, English courses, and Advanced Photography. Please visit the Summer Assignments page for details.
Course Schedule - You may access our Student Information System, Focus, to view your course schedule by August 1. New families will receive an email with their access codes. Please know that schedules are subject to change and you should check back on August 14 to confirm final placements.
Elective Registration - Middle School Electives are offered during 7th period. All electives are for one quarter unless otherwise indicated. Please review the Instructions and Course Descriptions of 1st quarter Middle School Electives. Each grade has specific dates for registration beginning on July 30. Students and parents are asked to follow these dates as specified. The first opportunity for each grade level to register will begin at 8:00 am on the day indicated. Students may not register before their assigned date; doing so will cause the student to be taken out of that elective and he/she may have to wait until registration closes in order to register again.
- 8th grade students will have the first opportunity to register online Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31.
- 7th grade students will be next, and they can register online Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2.
- 6th grade students will be able to register online Friday, August 3 and Saturday, August 4.
- All students who have not yet registered will be allowed to register Sunday, August 5 and Monday, August 6.
Contract P.E. - Planning to register for contract PE for '18-'19? Horsemanship participants register online with Belmont Stables to begin the process. All other MS contract PE participants should email Principal Medina to get started. In order to allow time to process all necessary paperwork before school starts, please initiate registration before August 1.
P.E. Uniforms - All Middle School students enrolled in PE will need to wear a MVC PE uniform, which includes a blue shirt and black shorts. Purchases must be made through our MVC 2018 PE Store, which will be open for one week only, beginning August 9 and ending Thursday, August 16. If students choose to wear a sweatshirt and/or sweatpants, each must also be part of the MVC uniform. Visit the online store today! Middle School Family Picnic - All Middle School families are invited to join us on Saturday, August 25 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm for a Middle School Family Picnic on the quad. Bring a blanket and a picnic for your family to enjoy. MVC will provide beverages and sweet treats, as well as the pool, sand volleyball court, and other fun activities for the whole family. Interested in helping us plan the fun? Email Nikki Daniels on or before August 5 to volunteer!
Middle School Beach Day - If you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming Middle School Beach Day at Sunset Beach on Wednesday, August 29 from 10:00 am* - 1:30 pm, please email Carissa Medina. Volunteer opportunities will include barbecuing, setting up and serving lunch, and clean-up.
*Students are asked to arrive at school at the regular start time.
2018-2019 MVC Mustang Club - Mustang fans of all ages - parents, grandparents, and friends - can support athletics at MVC by joining the Mustang Club for the 2018-2019 school year. Different membership levels have different "perks," including passes to regular season home athletic events and exclusive MVC gear. Sign up before Thursday, August 19 and join us for a special Members Only Reception the night of the first home football game on Friday, August 24.
