Ready For Takeoff 2020-2021
Textbook Bundle Purchase - All MVC students will be billed one set fee for all textbooks through their FACTS account. Information on fees and the date of billing will be available by July 15.
Emergency/Medical Information - All MVC students are required to have updated emergency/medical information in Focus. Parents can log in with their parent credentials, complete, sign, and date the Emergency Card verifying that all information is current. New families will be able to input this vital information before August 1, 2020.
iPads/Technology - All students attending MVC bring their own iPads. Please refer to the information on our Technology page for specifications.
Cafe Account - Students may purchase all meals and snacks on campus in the Cafe using their mySchoolBucks account. New student accounts in mySchoolBucks will be established beginning August 1. Instructions for how to do this will be listed in the Mustang Flyer this summer.
Parent Volunteer Information - Parents interested in volunteering or chaperoning various trips and activities throughout the year will need to have a background check completed through the Live Scan process. In August, please bring a copy of your driver’s license and this completed form. A $30.00 fee will be due to the Business Office at the time of your scan. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Brianna Jaquez in the Business Office at 831-768-6118.
Transportation - Routes and rates for the 2020-2021 school year are on our Transportation Department web page. Bus registration must be completed by August 1 and ridership is guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis, so families are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Confirmed route and stop assignments will be issued the week of August 3 to allow families time to plan and prepare for the start of school on Tuesday, August 11. Please contact Transportation Manager Kenneth Rothhammer with questions.
Carpooling - Families interested in connecting with potential carpool partners for the 2020-2021 school year can fill out this form any time before Friday, July 31. Lists of names and email addresses will be shared with families by region the week of August 3 to allow time to connect prior to the first day of school on Tuesday, August 11. Questions? Subscribe to MVC's Online Calendar - Students, parents, and all Mustang fans are encouraged to use these step-by-step instructions to subscribe to whichever portion(s) of the online MVC calendar is/are most helpful. Events can be added directly to your personal calendar! Options include athletics teams, clubs, fine arts groups, and much more.
Course Schedule - Your 2020-2021 schedule is not complete and adjustments will continue until July 10. We will send you an update mid-July. Please contact your guidance counselor throughout the summer with any questions regarding your specific schedule or four-year plan. Please wait on concerns specific to course schedules until after July 10. New families will receive and email confirming their access codes and instructions for accessing Focus by mid-July.

Middle School Supply Lists - Supply lists for 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade are now available.
Elective Registration - Middle School elective registration for first semester begins on Friday, July 10 by grade level. In order to experience a well-rounded enrichment opportunity and to align with the IB framework for learning, all Middle School students will be required to take at least one semester of Fine Arts (either a performing or visual art). Review the elective registration course descriptions and instructions for more information. New families will receive an email with their student's Focus credentials by Wednesday, July 8.
Horsemanship - Are you interested in taking Horsemanship for PE in 2020 - 21? Horsemanship participants register online with Belmont Stables to begin the process. Please email Principal Medina ASAP, too, in order to accurately reflect that desire on your student schedule. In order to allow time to process all necessary paperwork before school starts, please initiate registration before July 1.
Athletics Paperwork - Tryout information and coaches' contacts for fall sports can be found here. Please make sure that you have all athletics paperwork completely filled out on Final Forms. Register now and electronically complete ALL forms!
2020 - 21 MVC Mustang Club - Mustang fans of all ages - parents, grandparents, and friends - can support athletics at MVC by joining the Mustang Club for the 2020 - 21 school year. Different membership levels have different "perks," including passes to regular season home athletic events and exclusive MVC gear. Early bird sign-ups will open up this summer; watch future Mustang Flyers for updates!
