Ready for Takeoff 2021-2022: Plans are in the works to welcome all those new to our MVC family to campus the evening of June 9, 2021. The transition to a new school is not only exciting, but filled with anticipation and questions. 2021-2022 Bell Schedule - The 2021-2022 Bell Schedule will be posted by June 2021.
2021-2022 Parent/Student Handbook - The 2021-2022 Parent/Student Handbook will be available before August 2021. Families can familiarize themselves with the 2020-2021 Parent/Student Handbook. Be sure to review the sections that cover our dress code, code of conduct, and iPad/Electronics Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
Emergency Card/Medical Information - All MVC students are required to have updated emergency/medical information in Focus each year. Please refer to these instructions to update/input this important information. After July 1, 2021, parents can log in with their parent credentials, complete, sign, and date the Emergency Card.
iPads/Technology - All students attending MVC must bring their own iPads. Please refer to the information on our Technology page for specifications. Please pay particular attention to MVC's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for answers to common questions and guidelines concerning iPads.
Café Account - Students may purchase all meals and snacks on campus in the Café using their mySchoolBucks account. Instructions for how to do this will be listed in the summer editions of the Mustang Flyer after June 10, 2021.
Parent Volunteer Information - Parents interested in volunteering or chaperoning various trips and activities throughout the year will need to have a background check completed through the Live Scan process. Please reach out to Brianna Jaquez if you are interested in volunteering throughout the school year.
Summer Camps - MVC is excited to offer a full docket of summer camps for K-12 students this June and July. Information and registration is available on the Summer Camps page of our website.
Transportation - Please visit the MVC Transportation Department web page for general information on our transportation services. Bus ridership is guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis, so families are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Routes and rates for 2021-2022 are available here. Please contact Transportation Manager Kenneth Rothhammer with questions.
Carpooling - Families interested in connecting with potential carpool partners for the 2021-2022 school year can do so via our new private "intranet" - Mustang Network. Information on how to create your Mustang Network account will be posted in the Mustang Flyer by June 10.
Subscribe to MVC's Online Calendar - Students, parents, and all Mustang fans are encouraged to use these step-by-step instructions to subscribe to whichever portion(s) of the online MVC calendar is/are most helpful. Events can be added directly to your personal calendar! Options include athletics teams, clubs, fine arts groups, and much more.
Course Schedule - All new-to-MVC Mustangs have had the opportunity to go over your class interests during your admissions interview. You are welcome to review course offerings and contact your guidance counselor if you'd like to confirm your requests. Schedules will be available in Focus by the end of July. In the meantime, our Guidance Team can answer any questions you may have.

High School Textbooks - Your textbook bundle is included in your tuition this year (a $255 value). This bundle will be available by mid-summer. Summer School - Registration is open for a variety of classes in a variety of formats for Summer School 2021. To register, please fill out the registration form and turn it into the ARC or email it directly to Jennifer Van Deusen. If you have questions, please check with your guidance counselor for course approval.
Middle School Course Selections - New-to-MVC Mustangs in grades 6 - 8 will be able to view their course scheduled in Focus by August 1. Please review course offerings here.
Placement Assessments - In order to determine the best possible course placement, we will assess incoming students in grades 6 - 8 during the summer. We will send you an invitation to select the most convenient assessment date for your family.

PE Uniforms - All Middle School students enrolled in PE must wear either their own athletic wear (within dress code) or an MVC PE uniform. Details regarding what PE will include this year, due to current health regulations, will be forthcoming. For questions regarding uniforms, contact PE Instructor Don Keathley or Middle School Principal Carissa Medina.
Middle School Supply Lists - Supply lists for 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade will be available by August 2021.
Horsemanship - Are you interested in taking Horsemanship for PE in 2021-2022? Horsemanship participants register online with Belmont Stables to begin the process. Please email Principal Medina ASAP, too, in order to accurately reflect that desire on your student schedule.
