Why Continuous Enrollment (CE)?
We understand and are thankful that the vast majority of Monte Vista Christian families choose to remain at MVC through graduation, so we are moving toward a straightforward, seamless process for you to keep your student(s) enrolled with us. The Continuous Enrollment (CE) system will reduce the time and logistics your family must commit each January during what was previously known as re-enrollment.
What do I get out of CE?
- Simplicity! We look forward to serving MVC families by moving toward a straightforward, seamless process for you to keep your student(s) enrolled with us.
- Guaranteed placement. CE will lock down that coveted seat for your child until graduation.
What about the Enrollment Fee (EF)?
The Enrollment Fee (EF) assists MVC in effectively planning for staffing and curriculum, and secures student placement for the upcoming year. One EF per student will be billed to your FACTS account each February. The annual Enrollment Fee (EF) is non refundable.
What if I am behind on my account?
All accounts must be current in order to keep your CE status active. Students will not be considered enrolled for the upcoming school year until accounts are current and the EF is paid.
What if my student(s) is/are not returning next year?
Once you notify the Director of Admissions of your intent to withdraw, you will be instructed regarding next steps for withdrawal. Your student billing account must be reconciled before the withdrawal is final.
Can I still participate in MVC’s Tuition Protection Plan (TPP)?
Yes! Your election to opt in (or out) of our TPP for a school year will automatically renew in future years. Should you opt in, the TPP fee (published each year along with tuition and fees) will be billed annually each June until your family opts out on or before January 31 of the year prior to coverage. Remember your TPP election can be changed by contacting either Admissions or the Business Office.
