Visual Arts

My child has gotten the opportunity to create in ways she did not think possible. She never thought of herself as a photographer -- or a potter. Now she does. It's fun to see the creative confidence she has gained through the MVC Visual Arts program.

- MVC Parent

MVC’s visual Arts Department develops skilled creators.

We see God every day in His creation. The MVC Visual Arts program empowers learners to share what they see in a visual language. Courses include Art, Art Studio, Graphic Design, Digital Video, Ceramics, and Photography. Students display their work at campus shows and local exhibits.

Photography & Advanced Photography

Photography is designed as an introduction to the art and science of photographic imaging, including both analog and digital photography. By exploring your “camera vision,” you will create photographic images that come from your own personal vision, curiosity, and story.

Photo Gallery

Photo Gallery is the capstone course. The goal of this course is to further articulate your artistic worldview and vision by developing a body of work built upon your particular concerns, style, concepts, and themes—that is, developing your visual voice.
