Monte Vista Christian school buses travel hundreds of miles bringing students from four different counties to campus each school day.

Dear MVC Parents,

From the very first day I joined the MVC team eight years ago, I have worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and reliable performance of our bus fleet. I look forward to pursuing these same key priorities for our Transportation Department as a whole in the months and years to come.

This summer, our team has been evaluating all bus routes and stops, implementing new technology for daily safety inspections and driver data recording, adding more cameras to buses, and assessing each policy and procedure - all with the goal of providing the safest and most reliable transport possible for your children. Rest assured that any changes you experience in your MVC Transportation Department interaction this year will be made solely for that purpose - the safety of our precious students.

I invite you to sign up here to participate in MVC bussing for the 2018-2019 school year. Ridership is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so we ask that families complete this process before August 1 in order to secure a spot for your student(s).

A number of routes and stops are currently under evaluation and will be determined in the next several weeks. We plan to notify families of their secured route/stops during the week of August 6 to provide time for your planning and preparation for the new school year.

MVC offers two ways families can participate in our transportation program - a Ten Pack Single Ride Bus Pass and an Annual Bus Pass.

Option 1: Ten Pack Single Ride Bus Pass

Ten Pack Single Ride Bus Passes are available for families who have students that are not part of an annual plan, yet occasionally need to ride the bus. Participation in this option is a two-step process:

Step 1 – Purchase a Ten Pack from the Business Office. This purchase must be made by a parent or guardian (in person or via phone by calling 831-768-6151) as the purchase represents parental permission for the student to ride the bus. For this reason, students are not permitted to purchase a Ten Pack. The cost of a Ten Pack is $100. The card will be punched by the driver at the time of use for each one-way ride until all 10 rides have been exhausted, at which point a new Ten Pack may be purchased.

Step 2 - Parents must sign their student up for the appropriate pick-up and drop-off via this online form. The form must be submitted each time a ride is used. If parents fail to sign their student up for the appropriate route by 1:00 pm of that day, access to the bus may be denied.

Option 2: Annual Bus Pass

There are many options available for the Annual Bus Pass. Pricing can be found here. To secure an annual pass, please use this link and fill out the form provided.

Payment for the Annual Bus Pass is debited through your FACTS tuition account. Families can choose to pay in full or or in monthly installments.
